Using SMS for Multi-Factor Authentication

For multi-factor authentication, you can get a verification code through a SMS text message to your phone.

Only phone numbers that can receive SMS text messages are supported. Standard messaging rates will apply from your carrier.

To set up your phone number with Sunergo Accounts:

  1. Go to Account Settings > Security in Sunergo Accounts: accounts.sunergo.net/account/security.
    1. You can also access Accounts Settings by selecting your profile name or “My Account” in the top right corner, then select Security.
  2. Select Setup in the “Text a Code” card.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to setup your phone number with Sunergo Accounts.
  4. Once your phone number is added, we’ll send a test verification code to check that everything is working properly.

What happens if I don’t have access to my phone?

You’ll still be able to complete multi-factor authentication by using your email when you log in.
