Sign-In Options and MFA

Connect logins are attached to contact records. This is different from the credentials used to log in to Church Tools.

Sunergo Connect offers a few different ways to sign in securely, including one-time logon codes, multi-factor authentication, and a Keep me signed in option.

Sign in with a one-time logon code

If you do not want to enter your password, you can sign in with a one-time logon code.

  1. Open the Connect logon page.
  2. Select Prefer a one-time logon code.
  3. Enter the email address for your Connect account.
  4. Check your email for the one-time code.
  5. Enter the code on the sign-in page to complete your logon.

The one-time logon code is sent to the email address attached to the contact’s Connect login.

Use Keep me signed in

If you are signing in on your own computer or device, you can select the Keep me signed in checkbox on the logon page.

This helps reduce how often you need to sign in again.

Only use Keep me signed in on a private, trusted device. Do not use it on a shared or public computer.

Set up multi-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your account.

To set it up in Connect:

  1. Sign in to Connect.
  2. Go to My Info.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  4. Follow the prompts to set up your preferred multi-factor authentication method.

You can choose from these MFA options:

  • Authentication app
  • SMS text message

Complete MFA when signing in

If MFA is enabled for your account, you will be asked to complete an extra verification step after signing in.

Depending on how your account is set up, you can complete MFA by:

  • entering a code from your authentication app, or
  • entering a code sent to you by SMS text message.
